Peec and aeomcp use the same columnar idea — every analytical tool returns
columns, rows, row_count and a trace_id — so most of what you already
know about calling one server carries straight over to the other. A few
things differ. Peec requires a free-text context argument on every tool;
ours accepts and logs context but never requires it. Our engines are
chatgpt, google_ai_overview, google_ai_mode and gemini (public names,
not Peec's internal channel ids). aeomcp no longer supports Perplexity
(retired 2026-10-12) or Microsoft Copilot (retired 2026-10-14): Peec's
perplexity and copilot channels have no counterpart here, and historical
answers from either are not returned.
Until 2026-09-27 google_ai_overview labelled the channel that is now
google_ai_mode; report bundles built before then keep the old label.
Where Peec ships three separate report tools (get_brand_report,
get_domain_report, get_url_report), we ship one get_report(kind=…) that
takes brands, domains or urls. Creating and updating brands, prompts,
prompt candidates, topics, tags and source classifications is here now — see
writes for the bulk contract, dry_run and idempotency_key. Deleting
any of those, and finalizing prompt candidates, is not here yet — they
arrive in a later release; every row below marked planned is a frozen
catalog name, not a working tool.
Status: available means the tool works today; planned means the name is
reserved in the catalog but not yet callable.
account
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
get_project_profile | get_brand_profile | Peec's six-question shape: occupation, industry, brand presentation, products and services, target markets, audience distribution |
list_projects | list_workspaces | ours adds is_current, official_origin; no include_inactive — tenants carries no inactive flag to filter on |
read_doc | read_doc | |
search_docs | search_docs | this corpus, including this page |
set_project_profile | update_brand_profile | available; a PATCH, not a full replace, and it saves a new profile version rather than overwriting the old one; it does not itself regenerate prompts (generate_buyer_questions does) |
brands
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
create_brands | add_competitors | available; supersedes the singular add_competitor, which stays in the catalog; resets aliases to [] when omitted on re-add (see writes) |
delete_brands | remove_competitors | planned (a later release); supersedes the singular remove_competitor, which stays in the catalog |
get_brand_report | get_report (kind=brands) | dimensions incl. week, month; raw sums on every row |
list_brands | list_brands | appends domains, aliases, regex, color after the same twelve columns get_overview returns |
update_brands | update_brands | available; patch semantics, at least one field required |
prompts
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
archive_prompts | archive_prompts | available |
create_prompts | import_prompts | available |
delete_prompts | delete_prompts | planned (a later release) |
list_prompts | list_prompts | adds country_code, is_archived, search, tag_ids; fields |
unarchive_prompts | unarchive_prompts | available |
update_prompts | update_prompts | available |
prompt suggestions
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
finalize_prompt_suggestions | finalize_prompt_candidates | planned (a later release) |
generate_prompt_suggestions | generate_buyer_questions | available; async — returns a run handle plus an estimate, and the questions land as candidates to accept |
generate_topics | generate_topics | available; derived from the stored brand profile rather than generated freely, so the same profile always yields the same topics |
get_prompt_suggestion_generation | get_run | any run kind, not just prompt generation |
list_prompt_suggestions | list_prompt_candidates | status proposed by default; run_id narrows to one generation run |
update_prompt_suggestions | update_prompt_candidates | available |
topics & tags
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
create_tags | create_tags | available |
create_topics | create_topics | available |
delete_tag_groups | delete_tag_groups | planned (a later release) |
delete_tags | delete_tags | planned (a later release) |
delete_topics | delete_topics | planned (a later release) |
list_tag_groups | list_tag_groups | user tags only, with colour and tag count |
list_tags | list_tags | user tags and the five system tags; group narrows to one group |
list_topics | list_topics | topic_id is the slug (e.g. general) — the same thing it means in Window.topic_id and the report topic_id dimension; the row's uuid is the separate first column id; suggested topics hidden unless include_suggested |
update_tag_groups | update_tag_groups | available |
update_tags | update_tags | available |
update_topics | update_topics | available; addresses the topic row by its uuid, not the slug |
engines
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |

list_model_channels | list_engines | |
list_models | — | not planned; deprecated on both sides |
answers & fan-outs
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
get_chat | get_answer | no products or raw payload yet; adds observed_location (the location evidence), measurement_method, location and location_label |
list_chats | search_answers | Window + features, brand_ids, include_archived, location_id; limit max 500, cursor pages; location column names the verified location (null otherwise) |
list_search_queries | list_fanout_queries | one row per occurrence, not aggregated: answer_id, prompt_id, engine, date, query_index, plus Peec's occurrences count kept per query over the window; prompt_id is optional, not required |
reports & sources
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
get_chats_report | get_answers_report | chat counts + feature shares (web search, shopping, product comparison, ad, map) over the same dimensions get_report accepts |
get_domain_report | get_report (kind=domains) | Peec's gap and mentioned_brand_count numeric filters are having clauses over gap_competitors and mentioned_brand_count |
get_url_content | get_source_content | status pending/failed/blocked with text null when the page is known but not fetched; not_found only when no source page has ever been cited |
get_url_report | get_report (kind=urls) | |

delete_url_classification | delete_source_classification (kind=url) | planned (a later release) |
list_domain_classifications | list_source_classifications (kind=domain) | builtin, custom and per-target override rows, same as the url kind |
list_url_classifications | list_source_classifications (kind=url) | |
unassign_domain_classification | unassign_source_classification | planned (a later release) |
unassign_url_classification | unassign_source_classification (kind=url) | planned (a later release) |
actions
| Peec tool | aeomcp tool | Notes |
|---|
get_actions | recommend_next_actions | planned; heuristics over several payloads, not a single projection |
Not planned
Three Peec groups have no aeomcp counterpart and none is planned: brand
perception (edit_brand_perception_attribute_clusters,
get_brand_perception_attribute_rankings,
get_brand_perception_attribute_sources,
get_brand_perception_brand_attributes,
get_brand_perception_competitive_breakdown,
get_brand_perception_objection_sources, get_brand_perception_objections,
list_brand_perception_attribute_clusters), agent analytics
(get_agent_visits, list_bots, list_referral_sources), and shopping
(create_categories, create_global_brand, create_products,
delete_categories, delete_products, get_product,
get_shopping_attributes, get_shopping_summary, get_shopping_trend,
list_categories, list_global_brands, list_merchants, list_products,
list_shopping_demand, list_shopping_performance, list_shopping_queries,
update_categories, update_products — except list_shopping_queries,
which our list_fanout_queries already covers as a fan-out kind).
